Okay so for the past few weeks Ive been feeling like I have to pee all of the time. Like way more than normal. So I took my prescription of bactrim that Ive had for a long time for these issues. It didnt help. I have test strips so I thought well maybe Ill just see whats going on there. The results were that there was no blood and no leukocyte but it was positive for glucose 500 mg DL. Of course I didnt want to believe that so I used test strip again about 12 hours later and the same results. I do know that I obviously have to go and find a doctor so I can get some blood work to be for sure of whats going on but in the meantime does anybody have any advice or what I should do or not do. Of course when mom passed away I got rid of all of her glucose monitors so I have nothing on hand. Does anyone know if Pharmacies do the finger prick blood sugar test. I have a really long line of diabetes in my family, so I figured I would probably end up with it at some point in my life I just didnt think it would happen soon. And maybe that isnt even the problem but everything Ive read about the glucose being positive means that there something going on with the blood sugar.
