Okay so here is the long and short of it.....I took Kayla to our family doctor today and here is what happened. She had been in pain all day. Since 9:30 this morning she had been in pain. Got her there and they took her blood pressure - 170/110! Pulse 104. Temperature, low grade fever. Did a urine test and she has a urinary tract infection. However; he doesnt think thats the cause of the pain in her back. Its just on top of everything else. Setting us up for a CT scan of everything from her rib cage to belly button. In the mean time, shes on an antibiotic for the infection. He prescribed her pain pills for the pain. Gave us samples of a couple of things to try until we get the CT scan and get results. The sample were trying first is for bile distribution. He said it could be that her bile, since it doesnt have the gallbladder to go through, is causing the problem. Hes not worried about her blood pressure because, 1) shes been in pain all day and that can raise it and 2) because she has an infection, that can also raise it. Sooooo......bottom line.....waiting on the date to get the scan done....then we wait for results.
