Okay, so this is Breast Cancer month. Think pink, right? Women who fight this horrible, dangerous, serious cancer are called heroes. They are courageous. They fight. Some win and sadly, some lose this battle. Now I have been reading about this woman who is going to commit suicide because she has terminal cancer. She is choosing not to fight. Im not talking about not taking chemo. I mean she is going to actively take something that will end her life. She is also being called courageous and brave. Both camps cannot be right. Women who fight cancer and those who flee cancer can not both be courageous. Either it is brave to fight, and maybe lose. Or, its cowardly to suffer. The problem with flawed philosophical principals, is that it almost always leads to deadly consequences. And if this is true with the materialist philosophy---how much more deadly are the consequences if there is more to this life then merely the material.
