Okay, this idea is great, I would love to have one of these, BUT...instead of making a product aimed at the general public, this is ridiculously outfitted like a luxury 5-star resort; with teak wood cabinets, granite counters, marble tile in the bath and the floor...how ridiculous is it to put marble floors and walls,and granite counter tops in something that you drive?? (all that added weight sure would help the gas mileage, huh??) the idea of a vehicle that you can drive on vacation, stay in instead of a motel, and that will also serve as a pontoon of sorts would be absolutely fantastic! But why try to make it a super-luxurious, ridiculously expensive toy for only the very very wealthy? Not that I could afford one unless they were giving them away, but there are probably many people that buy and use RVs that would seriously consider an amphibious one, with plain old wood and tile floors and simple furnishings, instead of all the fancy stuff.
