Okay this is intriguing... heres one for the audio folks. My active studio monitors are equidistant from my center and pointing directly at where my nose is. The volume knob is at 0 dB for both, and my panning is at 0 on software. However, Im still having the sensation of the left monitor being louder. Not sure if its my ears, the nano patch panel or something else. Im using a 1kHz test tone. Im using a Zoom H4n with 120 degree stereo internal microphone to measure in place of my ears and both channel levels are the same. With headphones, they sound almost the same but I cant be certain. Could this be that my right ear is hearing things a little softer than the left? Is this what piccoloists feel after a couple of years of right-side loudness / deafness? :O Chen Lin Lau Chia Perq Jon Nathanael Kon
