Okay, this will be (relatively) brief. I am alive and doing well as sort of a post modern Henry David Thoreau. I dont miss cable (I can barely get the local ota channels and sometimes not at all). But I do miss the internet. I am connecting through a hot spot that is at the very least inconsistent and weak at best. I just spent 15 minutes trying to send a message to my friend Olivier Piecedeboeuf (btw, Olivier needs more friends - especially people who know me - so lets get adding him to your friends list, people). Everyday the beauty of this place astounds me. I enjoy the crazy times with a couple of hundred people as well as the solitary times. I am looking into moving to the area as my health hasnt been this good in a long time being around family and friends. I walk a mile every morning, weather permitting and have lost about 25 pounds since I got here. I miss all of you FB family and friends and hope to be able to reconnect on a more regular basis soon.
