Okay, up north people whom I have been mercilessly badgering with my feigned lack of understanding of white stuff on the ground and the nature of scarves, God is now punishing me. My heater, which was always tempermental at best, has given up the ghost before one of those arctic things is supposed to hit. No problem finding a repair person on a Sunday between Christmas and New Years, right? Unless, of course, you have a floor furnace with a grate over it that was the heat-related invention directly after fire and no one under 30 has ever seen before, AND apparently many places will not, under any circumstances, work on a rental property. So, no, we arent freezing yet, but the pets are all piled on top of each other and a bunch of blankets and you will all have your revenge when it plunges under 60 degrees and we all freeze to death.
