Okay, what just happened is too bizarre not to post about. Our washer died two days ago, so we went to Sears to buy a new one, which was delivered today. The delivery guys got the washer to our laundry room door, measured and announced it was 25 while the washer was 27. So, wont fit. Fortunately, we have a second door. He measured that and said it was also too small. After some discussion, it was decided theyd leave the washer, wed get the door frame removed and they would return to put it in place. After they left, I got out my tape measure to check the second door (which looked wider, though I hadnt seen his measurement of it) to see how many inches we were looking to expand the space. It measured 30. What? I measured again. And again. And again. Every time, 30. Big enough to get a 27 washer through. Have no idea why the guy lied to me.
