Okhahlamba Local Municipality is inviting students who have applied at Tertiary Institutions to pursue their career in the following fields: 1. Town planning 2. BCom Accounting 3. Civil Engineering Only three (3) students who will meet the necessary requirements will be awarded a full time bursary. Councilors, biological relatives of both Municipal Officials and councilors are not eligible to benefit from this assistance. NOTE: First come first serve rule will apply as priority will be given to those who submitted their application on time. Candidates must meet the following conditions: • Must be an official resident of Okhahlamba Municipality with proof of residential address • Has an acceptance letter/proof of application from a recognised university. • Application form ( obtained from Okhahlamba Municipality Youth Development Office must be completed and accompanied by certified copies of the following documents ID copy Grade 12 Matric certificate or matric statement of results/June results Acceptance letter or proof of application through CAO Proof of household income ( salary advise , pension slips or affidavits when parents are not working) Death certificate( where parents legal guidance are deceased) Proof of residents (obtained from Ward councillors or traditional local authorities ) Motivational letter Applications must be hand delivered to Okhahlamba Local Municipality Youth Office only.
