Okiki Oderos OPEN LETTER RE : WHAT CAN KENYANS LEARN FROM FIDEL ODINGAS DEMISE? Fellow Kenyan, I am tear-full, as I watch Fidel Castro Odingas Requiem Mass. The graciousness of the Odinga Family is a far cry from the nonsensical posts I have lately witnessed on social media. Let me take this opportunity to shame on social media haters. I never knew Fidel Odinga personally. But, all who knew him had one single testimony. Fidel Odinga created bridges. Fidel Odinga was a bridge buidler . Most of social media media users hypocritically mourn Fidel Odinga by destroying bridges. I have said it, and will not tire to say it. Hate has never solved a single problem. Love, is the solution, it will always be.The more things change, the more they REMAIN THE SAME.Love has always Worked. Hate has never worked, anywhere.Cant we learn? As Raila Junior has wisely testified, Fidel Odinga was far from perfect. Fidel Odinga was not a saint. He had his flaws, like all of us do. But Paul wisely counsels us to meditate on the good things. Fidel Odinga was not a hater. Why should we be HATERS? Lastly, Uhuru Kenyatta has said, as a tribute to Fidel, he and his government will not falter on the dream of a ONE KENYA. This will forever be my dream. William Samoei Ruto, echoed the same message. Last year, he met Fidel twice. Why cant we? Yes, why cant we meet FIDEL ODINGA in SPIRIT? Let us never falter, in not DREAMING OF ONE KENYA. The spirit never rests, the spirit never dies. The Nazarethan said, You may kill the body, BUT NOT THE SPIRIT. Let the Spirit of FIDEL LIVE ON. To the Odinga Family. May God Grant you Peace, during this DIFFICULT TIME. Death, will also die. We are thus COMFORTED BY THE BIBLE! As Christ did resurrect, so shall all the faithful.
