Oklahoma City K9s are now in line for bullet/stab protective vests through a non-profit fund raiser Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and Hayward DuPont Staffing are hosting the online event, Doctors Vesting K9 Heroes, now through October 10th. All proceeds from this event will be used to provide bullet and stab protective vests for law enforcement dogs nationwide, including the Oklahoma City eight K9s,. The goal is to raise $100,000. Each vest will bear the embroidery, In Memory of K9 Kye, Oklahoma City Police Department. who sacrificed his life in the line of duty on August 25, 2014. All donations are tax deductible.
