So I went to Heaven on Seven on Rush yesterday and my experience was so so. Let me give you a little back story. Once a month I have dinner or lunch with a group of ladies who are current or former employees. One of these women will only eat, tacos, pizza, and fried shrimp so as you can see our restaurant options are limited. Now our 1st experience with our waiter rubbed us the wrong way. He came to ask would we like a drink. Two of us said we needed a min. Before the other two could look up, hed walked away. Now as its not uncommon for us to not be ready, were used to a polite, Ill give you all a little more time. or something to that extent. Our next experience with him, which Ill take a little blame for, just irritated me. Id read on the menu that the $18.99 brunch had to have the whole table participate. Remember, I have someone wholl only eat shrimp. Well her meal is $19.99. I thought, if I explained our situation, maybe we could be an exception to the rule. Little fella said no. His solution was we sit at separate tables. Not gonna happen. When he walked away, we discussed asking for the manager and how he himself didnt offer to explain our situation to the manager. I was irritated because I normally would contact restaurants before hand to inquire about our special request. Ive gotten places to agree to off menu meals of fried shrimp. We decided against it. Wed just order because our goal is to catch up and have a good time not deal with unnecessary issues. Well at the end of our meal came the final straw for two of the other ladies at the table. My shrimp eater asked that the greens and gumbo which came with her meal to just be boxed to go. Cool. It came out in the bag before our meal did. Odd. Well when her meal came greens were included on her plate. Score. He comes and says yeah he forgot to take that off. No problem. When she asked to have the rest of her meal boxed to go she opened the container and somehow the greens that shed been eating werent in her container. Wtf!?! So she asked him and his response was she had greens to go. She looked at him and he asked did she want more and she responded yes. Now of course she wont be eating those but what was the purpose of throwing away food shed already been served?? I guess at the end everyone but my shrimp lady spent less than expected because we couldnt get the buffet which was cool but still. The table that came as we were leaving and a few of them wanted the buffet. They didnt have a special circumstance, like we did, but at least the waitress said shed go inquire. The only picture I have is the buffet menu items. Make sure everyone wants it if you decide to go.
