Olafur Eliasson: The cubic structural evolution project The Preschool children’s intended regular visits to the Auckland Art Gallery have begun this week. Why the Art Gallery?! We understand learning as an active process, one in which learners construct knowledge through participation in relevant experiences in environments rich, dynamic, full of information, media, people, full of possibilities and joy… and one that occurs in a socio-cultural context. Similar to our Preschool space, the beautiful spaces of the Auckland Art Gallery invite and support an unhurried exploration, sustained engagement, communication, offering many possibilities for expressing and noticing novel connections.
