Old story from dicedealer I was getting ready to tap out the boxman on a dice game for his break. This boxman was a real jerk, everyone hated him. He was just cocky and was an “I’m always right” kinda guy. Anyway he gives me the usual, keep track of this keep track of that, as if I didn’t already know what my job consisted of. About 10 minutes goes by and a player lands and buys in for $2,000. I walk up to him and say “Sir, do you have players card you would like to use today? He replies “NO!!” I ask if he would like to get one. He immediately starts going off on me. “Every time I come in here you guys ask me if I have or want a players card!!! WTH!!??? I just want to gamble in peace. The next person that come up to me talking about a players card is going to get punched in the throat!” I apologize and the game goes on. 15 minutes later, douche bag boxman that I tapped out for break comes back and starts checking tracking cards. He starts questioning me about the gentleman that bought in for 2k that now has 4k on the rail. “What’s the deal with this guy? You don’t have anything written down, what’s in for?” I reply “$2,000.” As I’m walking away the dickhead box then asks “Does he have a players card?” I said “Nope……but he wants one.
