Paul Olijnyk we couldnt have written better MC material even if we had tried. - 14 member bridal party. (Seriously guys, stop being so awesome and having so many great people in your life. For comparison, you had more people in your wedding party than I did on my slow pitch team last summer). - Not one, but TWO wedding Hopak performances by Volya and Friends of Shumka, making the grand total of split jumps performed well into the hundreds. Special shout out to Murray Howell for doing these sans knee cartilage. - Enough pyrohy to feed a small village. Note: the population of Radway, Alberta probably tripled when all of the wedding guests arrived at the reception. - 40 min kolomeyka by Millenia. Casualties included 2 pairs of dress pants, and the knee joints of the next generation of dancers participating. The three tier human tower looked like it was in fine form, especially for this early in the wedding season. Nice work boys. Im glad we didnt have to call 911. Furthermore, way to keep our local tailors employed, one crotch blow out at a time. Once again, kudos to Murray Howell for splits so aggressive that the outer thigh seams also gave way. - 46 (26 oz) bottles of vodka, 41 L of rye, 5 L of Jägermeister (when the vodka ran out), 7 bottles of spiced rum, 260 cans of beer, and 9 cases of wine. (This might explain all of the sunglasses at the gift opening today...) - So many polkas with so many old friends. - Too many ties on heads to count, and too many stories from the final 3am hotel shuttle to discuss here. - AND I pat myself on the back for not attempting any feats of strength, or stealing any instruments from the band.
