Om Namo Narayani Greetings and Love from Sri Sakthi Amma’s Peedam Following the conclusion of the Heart of Lakshmi retreat, beloved Amma arranged for us to meet and receive training from one of Her devotees, Shalish Saraf. We sat in the first level of Pranic Healing training with some doctors and medical staff, other guests from the guest house, and staff from Peedam. Master Choa Kok Sui is the founder of Pranic Healing, and one of Shakti Durga former teachers. It was an interesting couple of days seeing the concepts we are familiar with being presented within the Pranic Healing framework. It was a great opportunity to practice this modality and the energy transfer from Shalish was beautiful. Towards the end of the second day, Amma gave us a surprise visit. She played scanning games with us and also taught some of Her beloved priests how to scan the energy in Her chakras. Then we all then got to scan Amma’s heart chakra. Needless to say the quality of the energy was amazingly soft, refined and exquisitely Divine Mother! She kept pushing us back with the strength of her energy as we scanned her heart chakra. As the energy pulsed and we kept scanning, we ended up outside and into the cow paddock but it just kept going! (In a normal person this inner core of the chakra can be only felt a few inches out!) Divine Mother Amma was in a most playful mood! She then presented us each with our certificates as we bowed at Her feet! Many of the staff and guests who where new to energy healing are now going to utilise these wonderful techniques in their personal lives and with their patients. We continue to hold the vision that energy healing is utilised by the medical profession world wide and seen as a normal part of maintaining ones health, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It was such a blessing to be further empowered to serve in the healing arts. Thank you Salish for your generosity of spirit Thank you Sri Sakthi Amma for your endless Grace and Blessings! On Friday we then celebrated the 68th Anniversary of India’s Independence. Jai Hind! We had a joyful visit to the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya school and the newly established National curriculum school, where the children marched, sang, did yoga demonstrations, traditional and modern dance, and dressed as various historically important figures in celebration of India. So many cute Gandhis and Mother Teresas! There was also a special presentation from Green Sakthi (choreographed by Adi Shakti, Hari Hum and Nathalie!) as well as the first tree being planted in the new school. Jagatambe was asked to give a talk where she gave thanks for being able to bear witness to the nations spirit and the joy of the heart of India. Today the Celebrations for the 7th Sri Puram Anniversary have begun with a large yagam ceremony at the Star Path entrance. This was accompanied by a Gho (cow) Puja and Elephant Puja. It begins to hint and the grand scale of celebrations that we look forward to on the 24th. We also look forward to celebrating Krishna’s Birthday this evening. There is never a dull moment in the Peedam calendar! It is such a joy to be here! Om Namo Narayani Om Shakti Durga Om Shanti Shanti Shanti
