absolutely amazing. Sheikh Dadou ripping apart the stupid stupid arguments of those that claim it haram for a woman to drive. From what he says: it is permissible in its base state and anything that you apply to make it prohibited for the woman will also apply to make it prohibited for men. And vice versa. Gender is not a differential factor in anything in Islam except the few rulings that were specified by Allah (swt) or The Prophet, peace be upon him. When the presenter said: but theres a study to show that womans gentleness is a hinderance to their driving... The sheikh replied: more people need to be gentle when driving ! And thats definitely the case when it comes to piloting a plane. Based on your premise, they can pilot but not drive ! --- this is the light of knowledge. I met this sheikh and when he spoke, it was the speech of a man who had harnessed his mind beyond what most people can even conceive. May Allah (swt) prolong his life and benefit the ummah with him.
