Omar’s statements ridiculous, elections stunts: Geelani Condemns continuous PSAs on pro-freedom leaders =>Strongly condemning the slapping of 11th PSA against senior pro-freedom leader and Muslim League Chairman Mushtaq ul Islam, Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Tuesday said that policy adopted with regards to Kashmir State would only enhance uncertainty and political instability and, in no case, can force people for surrender or give up their struggle. “This is a grave problem and a worst example of political reprisal,” Geelani in a statement issued to GNS said, adding that there is no legal or moral justification in slapping PSA time and again on same person for same charges.Terming the statement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as ridiculous Geelani said his statement against New Delhi is but a political stunt. “If Omar Abdullah is sincere then he could have released all the political prisoners who are languishing in jails only because they have raised their voice against the stubborn policy of India.”He said New Delhi always ignored the aspirations of people and take us for granted. “It is due to stooges that their (New Delhi’s) policy of state is being managed and contrary to the wishes of entire population, only a few stooges are needed to mislead the world opinion.” The Hurriyat Chairman said that though these stooges compete to precede each other, New Delhi does not mind for them.”Instead for its interests provide chance to their blue-eyed puppets and their preferences change with every passing day.”Geelani said Omar Abdullah has apprehensions that if rulers in Delhi assure him about the safety of his authority after the upcoming elections, he will be the key partner in coalition and will surely change his stance. “In that case, he (Omar) would leave no stone unturned in holding the pro-freedom leaders responsible for turmoil in the state.” While referring to statement of Chief Minister that with respect to execution of Muhammad Afzal Guru and Sumbal incident, the people of Kashmir had exhibited patience, Syed Ali Geelani said that Omar Abdullah while portraying the situation otherwise is misleading the world opinion. “And it was the state terror that silenced the voice of people.
