On 10/29/13 my friend Lisa Carmelitano Ludwig posted a pic of a elder dog from the euth list. 11 years old, blind, emaciated, dumped at the Brooklyn ACC hell hole. I text-ed my dog trainer and asked if he thought I would be crazy if I got another dog. I already have 4 and 2 are special needs. He said no, we will make it work. I wrote to Lisa and told her to pull the dog. She called Linda from Posh Pets and yesterday at 4:30 Ball Ball arrived. This dog is so emaciated I was afraid to pick him up. I put him in a bed in the bathroom and ran out back to work. When I got home at 8 pm he was barking his head off. I picked him up, he started licking my face and he hasnt made a peep since. He sat with me and Morrie last night on the sofa. He ate, he has a voracious appetite. When it came time to go to bed, I put the dogs on the bed, Chippy, Morrie, Sasha and little bit Thanks to all of you for the name suggestions, I liked them all, but Janet Edwards, suggestion of little bit resonated with me. As soon as his head hit the pillow he sighed. A deep sigh of relief, knowing he was safe and loved. This morning, he wagged his tale when I walked in the room! Healing is already happening. I know some people may get annoyed with all the dogs and cats that are shared on fb. But sharing saves lives. I see it everyday. This little dog doesnt take a lot of work. And hell, if you have 4 what is one more? I cant profess to say I would do this if I did not have help. I do. A lot of it. But one dog or cat, one extra mouth to feed, is hardly any work at all. The depth of their gratitude is unending. The joy they bring is immeasurable. Thanks Lisa, Linda, John Michael Bocchino and Janet......
