On 15th August we all celebrate our Independence day with great enthusiasm. As a part of Independence day celebration we are using our Tricolour flag in every corner, every crossword, every shop,every vehicle. Even many youngsters colour it as a tattoo on their bodies. Some of us proudly pinned it up on the clothes. This sight of the National Flag fills pride in every heart, Isnt is ? But what happens when 16th august comes.. Once again we see our tricolor paper flags all around. but this time the sight fills every heart with remorse. The flag is seen in garbage. Many unceremoniously dump the tricolour to the dustbin or in the most it is thrown in the garbage or in the gutter. In keeping with true spirit of the Indian Culture we do not even hesitate to tear it.. Shame on us! Proper disposal of the damaged and soiled tricolor is to burn it... On 16th of August, me and my collage-mates Collected this much of Flags lying on the road near Futalalake.
