On 28 November 2011, 30 of us from Mahindarama & MBMC Yogis, Penang visited Saddhamaransi Meditation Centre, Yangon, Myanmar to pay our deepest respect to Sayadawgyi U Kundalabhivamsa or better known as Saddhamaransi Sayadawgyi as well as offered various donations to the centre. Initially, we were not granted to see Sayadawgyi personally as we knew Sayadawgyi was not feeling well at that time. While paying respect to another senior Sayadaw, all of a sudden, Sayadawgyi was wheel-chaired outside the centre’s compound by his Kappiya (attendant) with 3 others behind for us to catch a rare glimpse. What a rare opportunity to express our endless gratitude and reverence to Sayadawgyi by the yogis and local devotees. Kindly view this rare video clip mindfully. Sayadawgyi U Kundalabhivamsa (6 June 1921 – 19 December 2011) Anicca vata sankhara Uppada vaya dhammmino Uppajjitva nirujjhanti Tesam vupasamo sukho Impermanent, alas, are all conditions Arising and passing away Having been born they all must cease The calming of conditions is true happiness. Exceptional words by Sayadawgyi Let there be pain in the body and not in the mind, practise so that there is no pain in the mind, were words always repeated by Saddhamaransi Sayadawgyi. Motto : Let only the body has pain But not the mind. Practise Vipassana meditation. Buddha guno ananto Our endless gratitude to the Buddha. Dhamma guno ananto Our endless gratitude to the Dhamma. Sangha guno ananto Our endless gratitude to the Sangha. Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
