On 30th October 2009, she suffered five gunshot wounds as the police shot into the car and was severely injured in the right arm, chest and stomach. Bleeding from gunshot wounds, as she crawled out from the stopped car which she was just a passenger along with another woman who is the girlfriend of the man driving the car, one of the policemen kicked her breaking a rib in the process. Only she was brave enough to have taken the police to the courts to seek justice. The other two occupants were probably too intimidated.
