On April 24th, 2014, deputies responded to 18000 block of Prospect Rd. in Saratoga to investigate a commercial burglary. Unknown suspect(s) entered a business and stole various items including an Apple iMac. Investigators later determined the Apple iMac was used to make an online purchase and obtained the location the purchase was made. This led investigators to a residence in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue in San Jose. On June 17th, 2014, deputies went to the residence on Lincoln Avenue and conducted a probation search. When deputies arrived at the residence, Ryan Paradiso (36 years old from San Jose) was caught trying to flee out the front window. Paradiso was detained and during a search of his residence several stolen items were located. The Apple iMac computer was found as well as a stolen handgun, several computer monitors, cell phones, jewelry, bikes, silver dinnerware and a photo album. While the deputies were searching the garage of the residence, several neighbors had noticed various items that had been stolen from their residence in Paradiso’s garage. Those items were recovered and returned to their owners. Paradiso was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and violation of probation. Paradiso’s bail is currently set at No Bail. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying some of the property that was recovered from the residence.
