On Behalf The Finance Department Public Notice The Bank of Nauru (BoN) Liquidation team will be at the Nauru Revenue Office (“NRO”) for 3 days from 8 April 2014. All deposit-holders who disputed their account balance during the first dividend process should attend the NRO during this time to discuss their dispute unless they have already done so during the Liquidation team’s visit in March 2014. Please bring passbooks for your accounts to assist in quick identification and processing of your claim. Deposit-holders will be entitled to collect their first dividend if their dispute is accepted by the Liquidator. Deposit-holders who did not attend the NRO during the first dividend process should not attend the NRO during this time. Those deposit-holders will have a chance to claim their account(s) during the Liquidator’s next visit currently expected in May 2014. HOLDERS OF BoN CHEQUES In conjunction with the Government of Nauru (“GoN”), the Liquidator has agreed to collect all BoN cheques and, where appropriate, credit them to deposit-holders’ accounts on which future dividends will be based. All deposit-holders who wish to eventually receive payment for their cheques are strongly encouraged to attend the NRO during the Liquidation team’s visit from 8 April 2014.
