On Corridor today from #Smart_Leadership Task-focused people can get the job done whether they like another person or not. Relationship-focused people have a very difficult time getting the job done if they don’t like the other person (or if they think the other person doesn’t like them). Each side needs to keep that in mind about someone else and adjust their communications accordingly. These are some of my core philosophies or truths that I try to live by (and I’m the first to admit that I screw these up often. I just keep trying): 1. What you think of people is how you treat them. 2. Empathy is not condoning. 3. Let go of the need to be right.
