On December 19, 1987, I married a my college sweetheart. I met her sitting on the library floor of the Jones County Junior College Baptist Student Union, and I was smitten. Her sweet little voice, beautiful smile and radiant eyes had me at hello. It took her a while to fall for me, but I got her! Now weve been together for 27 years. Many of those years have been hard- but we have survived. Today I love her more than I can say. We both have our flaws- thats for sure- but at our core, we know, love and accept each other for what God says is true about us. We try not to define each other or judge each other by our actions as much as we do our identity. It helps- especially after another of my epic blunders. :) Thank you for sharing in the grace of God with me, Beloved. You are precious to me beyond words!
