On February 10, 2001 a very nervous boyfriend (me) asked his beautiful girlfriend (Shanna Hymes Bean) to be his bride. As part of my elaborate plan to woo her that day, my good friend Phillip Kreymer posed as a French waiter at a fake outdoor restaurant that we had dubbed the By The Lake Cafe. In the end I lucked out and my bride said yes to my proposal. Ever the romantic and with a flare for the dramatic, Phillip fully embraced his role that day and gave us his waiters notepad from his job at El Chico with a thoughtful note. Shanna and I will always remember Phillips friendship and his part in our special day. #strengthforphillip
