On February 15, 2013 at approximately 9:15 pm., Florida State Trooper Gustavo L. Reyes was off duty, operating his assigned state vehicle while simultaneously checking his email on a state issued laptop, on his way to a second job at the Greyhound dog track. If thats not enough for you, he was also speeding, 88 mph in a 70 mph zone when he struck a Jeep Cherokee, from behind causing it to roll violently. The driver, Christopher McClure and front seat passenger, wife Crystal McClure (22 weeks pregnant), were both ejected from the vehicle, a toddler in the rear car seat had possible minor injuries. Tragically, the unborn child died! After all this, I am in utter disbelief when I discovered Trooper Reyes wasnt charged criminally and is still employed by the Florida Highway Patrol! What a travesty! Please share!!
