On Friday 25 July a robbery took place during the evening at Heaton Park. A Female was walking through the park before being approached by a group of youths. Two female offenders from the group approach the female and one tried to remove a handbag from the victims shoulder, as the aggrieved person held onto her bag the offender then kicked her to the floor and snatched her belongings. The second offender then grabs the victim’s hair and demands her other bag before making their escape. Two females were pointed out by the victim at the Metrolink Station at Heaton Park and the offenders are found in possession of stolen property.
