On Friday, April 25th RCM-SAR Stations #37 Sooke, #35 Victoria and #33 Oak Bay took part in an inter-agency training session off Victoria with the Canadian Coast Guard and US Coast Guard Port Angeles. In the morning there was a meet and greet session, a brief classroom session with JRCC and a tour of the Dolphin Helo, CCG MLB Cape McKay and the RCM-SAR vessels. After the tour we had a BBQ lunch in the Officers Mess. In the afternoon we all went off Albert Head while USCG and Cape McKay practiced hoisting exercises. A few RCM-SAR members were also present on the CG MLB. A wonderful day and it was fantastic to meet our neighbours across the Strait in Washington. youtu.be/G2ZUNdxruwA
