On Friday night our storage unit out at Dr. Kittys was broken into and both of our EZ Up tents and our tote with our new Tshirts was stolen. We dont keep much in there because it was intended to store our emergency sheltering items. None of our cages or sheltering equipment was taken. The tote with the Ts was a chest type box and it was locked. The thieves surely didnt know they were getting a bunch of CCHS Ts. The police detective came and made a report and evidently there has been a problem with burglaries in this area. Our insurance does not cover items in the storage so we will just have to replace the stolen items ourselves. We have a good secure lock now but a little too late. :(
