On January 14, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation, joining communities across the country in naming January 2015 Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month and urging “all residents to actively participate in the efforts to both raise awareness of and end all forms of human trafficking in our communities.” CVS is part of the Zero Tolerance for Human Trafficking Coalition.
