On July 13-16, 2013, the Grant County Holstein Breeders will be hosting the Wisconsin Championship Holstein Show at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Lancaster. This annual event brings together more than 500 agricultural enthusiasts from across the state as they celebrate and showcase the very best of the Registered Holstein Breed. For the first time, we are honored to have the State Red and White Holstein Show to be held in conjunction with the Black and White Show. This event will take place on Sunday, July 14th at the fairgrounds. Monday’s events include a junior judging contest in the morning, followed by the Black & White heifer show and the state junior showmanship contest that evening. The cow show will start at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16th. The Grant County Holstein Breeders are expecting over 300 head of cattle between the two shows. It is anticipated that at least two Million Dollar cows will be part of the show.
