On July 20, 2013, Mt. Carmel Police received a 911 call from 415 Ash Street in Mt. Carmel. Upon arrival MCPD Officers located a distraught male identified as Brandon J. Withers of Mt. Carmel. Witnesses at the scene advised Withers was involved in a physical altercation with subjects at the residence. Withers is accused of swinging a crow bar at an individual in the garage of the residence. Withers was also accused of striking a subject with a chair and plastic container. Officers arrested Withers and charged him with Domestic Battery, Unlawful restraint, and Assault. Withers was transported to the Wabash County Jail until the posting of bond.
