On June-26 I arrive at council again, having seen council - TopicsExpress

On June-26 I arrive at council again, having seen council attempt to discredit me, with intention of delivering a speech on Kenney and things our city should avoid. Hill, Davis, Caraway and Atkins are present in the large auditorium as I had told the mayor I wanted them to be. The city attorney, about to retire in Aug, and the mayor both stare me down as I take a seat in the audience. I couldnt help but think they were trying to intimidate me. Hill is smiling at m--as is AC Gonzales, who was praised for the event that result in kicking me out of the courthouse, is standing behind the podium behind the city attorneys chair instead of next to the Mayor. Soon the Mayor and city attorney start laughing. Councilmember Allen looks out at me from the chambers, staring directly at me as if to send a message of compassion that a coup had been set. Atkins goes up to Davis and shows her a paper, which makes her giggle and leave the table. As crazy as it sounded, I couldnt help but think there was a strong possibility they knew what my speech was about. The mayor pro tem Atkins (who had told me he knew every attorney in the city of dallas and suggested if I spoke AC would go and fix things in the court to put this thing behind us) gets up out of his chair and goes behind the horseshoe and talks with the city manager Ryan behind the wall, looking from around the corner and laughing. The city attorney also talks with Ryan. My head is in my hand and I notice them noticing that I am tired. They are happy. Atkins says a few things to Ryan and then walks out of the council room, staring at me as he leaves, smiling at first and then removing it as he disappears behind a door. Hill, Davis and Caraway, however, remain put. Mary Schum, previously in charge of court services, (who just resigned May 16) deliberately positions herself from the sidelines. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With cameras rolling, Hill and the Mayor put on their game faces and look serious as I get up to speak. Hill is no longer smiling, and the mayor looks serious as well, with his hands covering his mouth as if to convey hes worried about what Id say. I start off, I have a cofession to make later, but Ill just start off now. I love my country and my constitution so when I learn of serious improvements I want to make, I am compelled to speak out. ....Lets remember Kennedy today, Lets not....Lets not....Lets not.... A display was made by a friend in connection with my presentation. It says, When a member of my government gets up to leave the council table before I speak and then after hearing me say she is not present smiles at me as I start to turn from the podium and sits at the council table immediately before the cameras zoom back to a panaramic view of the horseshoe, this can give the false impression I was not honest about this persons absence. This took place here 6-12 and it gives the look members of my gov are disingenuous and willing to use resoruces of my gov. to unfairly try to discredit my testimony before this council simply b/c they do not like the truth I tell. On the other side, it said, After mine providing specific testimony on a branch of our gov. similar to the testimony provided April 3rd by councilpersons regarding the possibilities of coups by prosecutors and judges, mistreatment, and judicial disingenuousness, I have seen (before getting up to speak the last few times) security heighten in these chambers. I have seen a member of this council with a reputation of protecting city employees show concern to me about what I might say in the council and later request the mayor a review of speaker rules after I gave a more detailed report on the court on 5-15. Also, until 6-12, I was never before instructed I was in violation of speaker rules, although Id addressed the council in similar ways before. I believe because of the details and information I am privy to, council leadership was organizing to suppress/impede my right to provide public scrutiny of another branch of gov. that it works with frequently--just as councilmembers, city attorney, and court judge desired to suppress the reading/sharing of evals that had been made regarding city officials by legally competent city employees in 2012 on their opinion of protecting the integrity of the court. My friend, knowing how the city has been treating me suggested adding things to my speech. He said displays (a form of signs) are allowed in connection with presentations and he tried to get me to believe it would be okay to put up the display in my name, clearly marked as display. He put it up during my speech, but I wasnt sure I wanted this to happen. I didnt know when or where my friend might show this display--if at all. It surprised me when I heard a faint yell from behind. I wondered what the yelling about. It was my friend whod put up the display and appealed to the mayor to say it was a display in connection with my speech. I was trying to figure out what was going on. the mayor and ryan were laughing behind the schenes when I turned around to hear what the commotion was about. I should have known, given the content of the display, that it would be taken down by security, even though it was clearly marked with my name, marked as a display and done in connection with my presentation. The Mayor, of course, not wanting the content in the record did not want to admit it was a display. I continued on with my speech when I learned the Mayor wasnt going to hear my friend out. He says Your time is running out, holding back laughter. Toward the end of my comments, I went a little over like other citizens have done in the past and unlike in times past. The mayor said Im sorry, but your time is up, as if he were really sorry. I finished a few more words like other people and headed out. This is just amazing the mayor says to Ryan, whos out of the picture. He leaned back in his chair, very happy at the conclusion of my speech. Hill was happy, too, going over and talking to city attorney to congratulate him and see the sign before coming over to have a seat. I leave and walk past Lakoya London who had watched my speech. She is kind of smiling at the mayor and Ryan are laughing. I look at her as I pass and she doesnt say anything to me or acknowledge me. The next speaker by the name of Frank Ward is called. The Mayor, who knows the sequence of speakers, says, Okay, here were go, as if to know what the next speaker was going to say and how relevant it was to me. Frank Ward looks in the direction of the city attorney the whole time, almost as if to hold back a smile. He starts off by saying I have many things to say unto you but you cannot bear them now. Then, toward the end of his speech he stares down the mayor and the city attorney. When you sell out on the local level and everyone at the state level knows the players... this....this is the price you pay. The mayor looks serious, but Ryans head dips into the picture, him laughing. The mayor, turning to Ryan and pretending that he didnt know who this speaker was, says, This is a warning. Atkins whispers to Delassio. The final speaker put on the secretaries agenda comes up to speak. The mayor turns to Davis who turns to address another citizens issue. Then, the mayor turns to Judge Hill. Judge hill is still laughing and shes furiously typing on her cell phone, probably the victory of the day.
