On May 21st our son Andy Valentin was rushed to Westfield Memorial Hospital with a traumatic brain injury. It is impossible to thank the many people who helped with the care he received but also with the prayers, well wishes and simple acts of kindness we (my family) received through all of this, but Im going to try! First of all to Amanda Hardy for knowing something was wrong and rushing him to Westfield Emergency room and for taking such good care of him after. The staff, nurses and doctors at Westfield Memorial Hospital emergency room, the Starflight helicopter staff and pilot, Gates Vascular Institute, Dr. James Budny, Buffalo General Hospital, Alstar ambulance, every nurse and doctor who answered my endless questions, my brother-in-law Milton Valentin for driving us back and for the Buffalo and just being there, my sister-in-law Lucy Pitti for being there for us and supporting me especially when I needed it most, Susan and Randy Hardy, my best friend Vicki Risjan, our employers, coworkers and friends at Jamestown Plastics Inc Inc, 21 Brix Winery, Amandas boss, Brocton American Legion Post 434, Elevation Combat Sports Academy (ECSA), the unknown person who mowed our lawn when we were up at the hospital for days, the many people with their prayers and well wishes because of all of you our cup runneth over.
