On May 30th 2014 in one of my posts I called on president Uhuru Kenyatta to shed off his chest thumping, war mongering Sycophants and sit down with Raila for the sake of peace, unity, tranquility and national cohesion. Some people had mixed feelings about my call including my dearest long time friend Jaber Nyar Henry, Politics have no permanent enemies things keep changing like the weather,an idea which you hated yesterday might be the solution for Todays problem. When Raila jetted back from his Sabbatical leave of absence he came home to a charged crowd of disappointed but hopeful people. Disappointed by the way things are running but hopeful that someone can make it better and this is where Raila comes in and like i said yesterday this high hopes in m y informed opinion cannot be met and achieved by the current crop of politicians like Uhuru,Raila,Ruto or Kalonzo we need fresh blood, a total Paradigm shift. In one of my emails to Raila early this month i had suggested a constructive dialogue with government on tribal appointments and my thoughts just like everybody else is that any deserving Kenyan regardless of where he is coming from from should have fair or equal job opportunity and should not be denied because he is not tribally or politically correct. On security matters i was of the opinion that an hungry man cannot be patriotic and loyal to a government thats not taking care of him thats why we have home grown terrorists amongst our jobless educated youths,They are vulnerable and can be bought because majority are desperate and need money I was very impressed when i heard Raila calling for National Dialogue on matters affecting Kenyans which are not limited to the huge wage bill, insecurity, Negative ethnicity, tribal appointments etc CORD is asking for all inclusive government not two tribes government, let A kisii, pokomo, somalia,Teso,Mijikenda luo, kikuyu,Kamba mere etc feel they belong and they are proud of it thats what other countries do after elections people come together to build the Nation. At this point i must highly commend the president Uhuru Kenyatta for heeding this call for the sake of unity as a nation and accepting to sit down to find a way forward.Thats what leadership entails . I feel sorry for Ruto and i really understand why he would not like to see this happening because it threatens his Nusu mkate legitimacy and if unity is achieved he will be rendered irrelevant and his promises to the Kalenjin Nation will not be met and you see the way people like Alfred Keter are pocking holes into his leadership, and guess whose blood they will be baying for?????
