On Mayor Emanuels page.... Mayor, you have asked BP what it was that they spilled for days now, they refusing to let the public know...Here is the LAW they are violating, they were supposed to let ALL know, including the public, the SECOND they reported it...Will you please notify whatever agencies that are needed, to get this information, and then charge all violating this law, with whatever can be handed down? How idiotic is this really? Notice required under subsection (a) of this section shall include each of the following (to the extent known at the time of the notice and so long as no delay in responding to the emergency results): (A) The chemical name or identity of any substance involved in the release. (B) An indication of whether the substance is on the list referred to in section 11002(a) of this title. (C) An estimate of the quantity of any such substance that was released into the environment. (D) The time and duration of the release. (E) The medium or media into which the release occurred.
