On New Years 2014 my mother Lubella Salinas recorded my Uncle David Salinas doing what he loved to do best.. sing.. 4 months later he passed away so suddenly. My entire family was devastated and so broken. A couple of days later Id catch my son Evan over and over again listening to the audio of my Uncle singing (Evan doesnt even know spanish yet).Today (8 mths later) As I was doing my hw, I can hear him singing word for word to my Uncles voice. Its moments like these i just cant help but cry and pinch myself on how lucky and blessed I am to have such a smart and talented kid. My son and Uncle share the same birthday...coincidence? I think not.. I miss you so much Uncle David !
