On October 8th 2007 I was in Duluth visiting my grandmother. Marlana Brander was 7 Drew Brander was 4 and trinity was almost 1. My grandmother Marlene Pedersen pulled us aside before we left and gave us all big hugs and talks. She gave Marlana the pearl earnings her mom gave her when she was sick with cancer. On our way out she tugged my shirt and told me she was very proud of me and gave me the most loving look I can ever remember. I told her I would see her on Thanksgiving and she smiled and said, Sounds like a plan, her eyes changed thou. Then I didnt understand it but ten days later my grandmother passed from this world. I love you grandmother and I will never forget that look you gave me, it was the look of true love and I will remember that look everyday of my life. God bless you
