On Saturday 17th August Scarborough Disablement Action Group are inviting the local community to come along and celebrate the summer at their summer fayre. Between 2pm and 4pm, there will be a wide range of Stalls include Home Made Cakes, Hand Made Crafts, Jewellery, Bric and Brac, Tombola, Raffle, Books, Hair Brading, games and much much more Refreshments will include burgers, Pannins hot dogs teas, etc will be served throughout the afternoon. The fayre will be opened by Hayley Tamaddon, star of ITV Emmerdale and 2010 winner of ITV’s Dancing On Ice who is also performing in John Godber’s new play Muddy Cows Ian Whitfield Chair of Scarborough DAG said,: “Our summer fayre is a real highlight of the year for staff and volunteers and we’re really grateful to the everyone for all their help with organising the event and making it such a special day. The money we raise will go towards the running of the charity, which enables disabled people in Scarborough and surrounding areas. We hope to see as many people as possible supporting this fantastic cause.” We would like to thank Scarborough YMCA for their support and also Andrew Steel from Seachange Community Trust for the table hire.
