On Saturday, May 10 at 4pm, we will be hosting an Honors Recital from our Young Strings program. Admission is free - come be our guest to hear the best and the brightest in the program! Does Young Strings produce the next Yo Yo Ma or Hilary Hahn? Maybe, but overall the alums go on to have music in their life as a profession or a great joy! We recently heard from a Young Strings alum, Leandro Vargas, Jr., now an attorney in Houston. He went to college on a music scholarship and now hes practicing law and sitting on a board for a young orchestral ensemble. Hes sharing what Young Strings brought him to all kinds of people in his community!
