On Saturday, Oct. 11 2014, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adi Setia (lecturer at CASIS) single-handedly conducted a one-day course on Adab & Fiqh of the Islamic Market (in collaboration with UNRIBA), based on Hujjatul Islam al-Ghazālīs book on Proprieties of Earning and Living (Kitab Adab al-Kasb wa-Maash)--which he himself translated (IBFIM, 2013)--to an audience of fifty comprising of corporate professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and students. The audience were also privileged to hear Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd Nor Wan Dauds (Founding Director of CASIS) reflections on economics and Islam in his keynote speech. This course will be the beginning of many more to come catered for the public (Muslims and non-Muslims) in the future, inshaAllah!
