On Sunday morning my grandfather passed away. While we grieve the passing of an era, we also celebrate the legacy that he left....us. My grandparents were holocaust survivors, and while so much was taken away from them, at least he had the knowledge that he was able to help to create a beautiful and wonderful family I am so lucky to be a part of. Many of my friends know my Dads father was a professional actor, but my Grandfather on my Moms side survived much of the war by building sets for Yiddish theaters in Eastern Europe.
