On Sunday my guardian angel farmer put my wandering cows back in my field. So I have tried to be a real farmer the last 2 days and fix fence. It was beautiful weather out and brought back many wonderful memories of fencing last September with my sweetheart. He was so patient in teaching me what to do and I actually remembered what he said. Hope he got a kick out of watching me as I got wet, banged my thumb, scratched my arms & legs on branches, almost lost my boots in the deep mud, got burnt (forgot the sunscreen), felt very strong as I lifted whole trees off of fences or broke branches off to clear fence lines. I saw beautiful scenery, talked with my dog Pepper, and got lots of exercise. And I have more fences to walk still. Thought I would show you one of the many lakes on our farm - should have planted rice or fish this year. The cows even went to the lake for an afternoon dip.
