On Sunday the 11th of May, many AISC Families participated in Ms. Marina Cocconi’s Spring Adventure! It was a really fun day with lots of laughter, climbing, walking and running. The first stop of the trip was at the Cyprus Railway Museum in the village of Evrychou. The children and their families had the opportunity to learn lots of interesting information about the railway on the island many years ago, by answering the question sheets Ms. Marina gave them. The group then went on a 5.6km hike in the mountains of Assinou. There was a stunning view at the top of the hike of the Morphou Bay! After the long walk, everyone had a good rest and enjoyed a delicious Cypriot meze at a local restaurant in the village of Assinou. The children had the chance to run and play around there. The exciting day finished with a tour of the UNESCO Church of Assinou by Ms. Marina. Thank you to Ms. Marina for her excellent organization and giving everyone the chance to take part in the exciting adventure.
