On This Day In Herstory. On December 24, 1940, it is a season of hope - Bob Hope, that is, if you are tuning in to The Pepsodent Show Starring Bob Hope on NBC radio, and what a joy to have Miss Judy Garland once again joining Mr Hope over the airwaves. Fans of the show have, no doubt, missed Judy who was making weekly appearances with Bob on his show this time last year. If you are a fan of Judy Garland, however, then you know Judy to be one of the busiest women in show business. On todays show, she will be performing three songs from her pictures with MGM; Im Nobodys Baby from Andy Hardy Meets Debutante (released in July), Its A Great Day For The Irish from Little Nellie Kelly (released last month), and Franklin D Roosevelt Jones, a song Judy will be singing in her upcoming picture Babes On Broadway (premiering December 1941). - Chris Stevens
