On Thursday, June 20, the Library will offer these programs: * Ecology Action Center presents Have Bottles & Cans, Will Travel In this 10am Community Room program, we will examine how familiar products like Coke or Pepsi travel to our stores and homes. We’ll also look at the materials used to make the containers for these products and the journey they may well have taken to get to us. And we’ll learn that recycling really is important when it comes to keeping the planet healthy. * Sharpie Tie-Dye - for Teens Teens will travel back to the 1960s to make their own Tie-Dye design with Sharpie markers. It’s easy and fun! Meet from 2-4pm in the Community Room. * Summer Concert Series Join us at 6:45pm on the Library’s East Patio where we’ll enjoy the sounds of acoustic pop trio Ten Feet Tall Music. This group plays pop classics as well as original songs combining a good mix of music from both today and yesterday.
