On Thursday, September 11, 2014, the City of San José welcomed much needed affordable housing for its low-income family and senior residents. 1st and Rosemary Family and Senior Apartments, a ROEM Corporation development, offer 290 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments affordable to families and seniors with annual incomes at or below 60% of the Santa Clara County Area Median Income. This $89 million transit-oriented development is located near light rail and provides a sustainable community for its residents while helping the City of San José to meet its housing goals. This project is pursuing USGBC LEED-H Gold certification.
