On Thursday evening I attended a praise and worship service at Cielo Vista Church ( where I am a member). We sang a song entitled, I Surrender. At the beginning of the song, Justin Smith asked if we were able to get on our knees to pray, to take advantage of that moment. He encouraged us to surrender any and everything that is heavy on our hearts. 💔 I struggle with anger. Alot of impatience and frustration. I share this with the world because I surrendered my anger that evening I cried out to God. This is not the first, second or even the third time I ask HIM for help. I love how God provides all the resources for us to become better people...more like Jesus. Today we had a guest pastor speak very bluntly on ANGER. Pastor Thorpe didnt sugar coat anything. He said we can be angry but not sin while being angry. Ive known this for many years..keep trying, mess up, ask for forgiveness, He forgives me and He still continues to help me. How cool is my God??? I dont like being angry, impatient or frustrated because that leads to a bad attitude so its comforting to know that God is with me...helping me. Im bragging...yes...about how forgiving He is. He forgives all! Washes it away..makes you clean again...just by us asking.
